Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are designed to replace missing teeth or teeth that need to be extracted due to an accident, neglect or other reasons that the tooth may be deemed non-restorable. Partial dentures are a great way to help you retain your natural smile while at the same time allowing you to be comfortable while eating and socializing. Partials are removable and Dr. Fukuda will discuss your options with you so that you can decide which type of partial will be the best for your personal needs. With all the advancements in Dentistry, your partials will offer a great solution for missing teeth.

Once your new partial is delivered, Dr. Fukuda will go over care and instructions. You’ll be relieved in knowing that your partial will look just like the rest of your natural teeth making it very difficult to tell that you have a partial at all.

There are a few different types of partials:

• Acrylic Partial – made of acrylic, these are generally the most affordable
• Cast Partial – made of Chromium alloy, they are strong, light and an excellent choice for the replacement of missing teeth
• Flexible Partial – made from thermoplastic nylon resin that is ultra-thin and flexible, these can be more comfortable for speaking and chewing
